HydroCore Investments Group ("HydroCore", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and our communications, how we use it, and the choices you have. What we collect

Information you give us. When you email or call us, we collect what you choose to share, such as your name, email address, phone number, company name and the content of your message. If you are a business owner talking to us about a possible sale, this may include information about your business.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours is delivered through a hosting provider that records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view. This information is used to deliver and secure the site. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or rent personal information.

How we use it

We use personal information to respond to your enquiry, to discuss and evaluate a possible acquisition, investment or working relationship, to operate and protect this website, and to meet our legal obligations. We do not use it for any other purpose without your consent, unless the law permits or requires it.

Consent

By contacting us, you consent to us collecting and using your information for the purposes above. You can withdraw your consent at any time by telling us, subject to legal or contractual limits. If you withdraw consent, we may not be able to continue the conversation you started with us.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only as needed with service providers who help us run our business, such as our email, website hosting and IT providers, and with our professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants. They are required to protect it and to use it only for the services they provide to us. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to a party involved in a transaction with HydroCore, under confidentiality terms.

Confidential business information

Conversations with business owners about a possible sale are kept confidential. We sign a confidentiality agreement before you share financial information, and we do not contact your employees, customers or suppliers without your agreement.

Where your information is stored

Some of our service providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held outside Canada is subject to the laws of that country and may be accessible to its authorities.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, and then destroy or anonymize it securely.

How we protect it

We use reasonable physical, technical and administrative safeguards to protect personal information from loss, theft and unauthorized access, use or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive financial information by email until we have agreed confidentiality terms.

Your rights

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask how it has been used or disclosed, and ask us to correct it. Send your request in writing to the contact below. We will respond within the time required by law, and may need to confirm your identity first.

Questions and complaints

If you have a question or concern about how we handle personal information, contact our Privacy Officer at [email protected]. If we cannot resolve it, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
